Jen is a creative and results-oriented professional with over 15 years of experience in fund development. She has a long and impressive record of working with executive directors, board of directors, leadership teams, and diverse stakeholders to help communities thrive; and to resolve complex challenges through fundraising, strategic planning, and cross-sector partnership development. Her in depth knowledge of fund development includes proposal and grant development, annual fund and planned giving, public funding, digital fundraising, direct mail, event planning and management, direct solicitations, and more.

• 2016 to 2018, oversaw and facilitated the Honolulu Continuum of Care grant-making competition and HUD submission process, allocating over $9.8 million to non-profit organizations for housing resources to end and prevent homelessness; and receiving over $100,000 of increased funding from HUD in 2018. 

• Achieved 99% of all fundraising and development goals during the last decade. 

• Grant awards include, Housing and Urban Development $9.8 million, California Wellness Foundation $1 million, Walmart National Foundation $750,000, Home Depot Foundation $550,000, and Tipping Point $150,000.
